Senior Contracts Manager
We’re looking for a results-driven Senior Contracts Manager to lead the commercial and operational success of our high-volume kitchen supply and installation programmes, as well as long-term framework agreements. You’ll shape the full contract lifecycle, from bidding and negotiation to delivery and renewal, ensuring outstanding financial performance, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Contracts Manager, you’ll:
- Influence the end-to-end commercial and operational process through bidding and winning large scale projects and securing long-term framework agreements
- Deliver essential commercial and business support across all stages of the contract lifecycle, working with Service and Sales to ensure industry leading contractual performance
- Lead the development and execution of strong commercial and operational practices across teams to enhance contract profitability and financial outcomes, with focus on aged debt management and payment terms
- Provide leadership and direction to a support team
- Demonstrate ability to provide management and peers with pertinent counterviews whilst being empathetic
- Stay informed on industry standard and regulatory changes, ensuring compliances with all key frameworks
- Ensure successful audits and renewals in line with the relevant accreditation organisations
- Participate as a key member of the Senior Management Team contributing to business strategy and decision making
- Attend client sites to resolve disputes, negotiate unplanned variations, and provide hands-on commercial support
- Negotiate, reviewing and advising on contracts & frameworks
- Evaluate proposals to ensure alignment with operational processes
- Prepare and monitor site trackers ensuring costs against sale are on target and achieve target margin
- Attend regular site meetings with customer counterparts during site programme of works
- Track/negotiate site extras, instructions and day works
- Apply your in-depth knowledge of construction contracts (such as JCT) to deliver value and manage risk
Who we're looking for
We’re looking for someone who combines sharp commercial acumen with hands-on operational experience. You’ll need:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to challenge constructively
- Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical, investigative mindset
- Strong numeracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- A background in Quantity Surveying or Construction Project Management (MRICS desirable but not essential)
- Experience within the housing or construction sector (contract kitchens experience a bonus)
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
