Store Compliance Manager
We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded Compliance Manager to partner with our Regional Managers and Store Managers, helping to deliver operational excellence, maximise profitability, to ensure our stores run smoothly, safely, and compliantly.
This role is all about making an impact where it matters most: supporting our store teams to embed best practice, reduce costs, and create a culture of continuous improvement.
This specific role however will have the added responsibility of building a compliance culture and framework in the projects and across teams.
What’s in it for you?
- A role where you’ll have real influence across our store network.
- The chance to work closely with leaders and colleagues to make meaningful improvements every day.
- Ongoing development and opportunities to grow your career with us.
- A collaborative, forward-thinking environment where your ideas will help shape how we do things.
What you’ll be doing
No two days will be the same, but your focus will be on:
- Driving efficiency: helping stores keep operating costs under control by embedding company processes and spotting opportunities for improvement.
- Partnering with Store Managers: coaching and supporting them to strengthen compliance, improve service, and deliver profitable growth.
- Rolling out new processes: making sure central initiatives land well in stores and providing feedback to improve future rollouts.
- Auditing & action planning: completing regular H&S and cost compliance audits, ensuring follow-up plans are in place to support continuous improvement.
- Stock management: working with stores post-stocktake to create action plans and coaching managers on best practice.
- Building collaboration: working with central and H&S teams to share feedback, implement updates, and keep colleagues fully informed.
- Working with the hub and projects teams to define their processes, set KPI’s and establish a cost and process protection mindset
What we’re looking for
You’ll thrive in this role if you’re someone who’s commercially sharp, people-focused, and loves finding better ways of doing things. You’ll bring:
- A proven track record in sales and cost management.
- Solid P&L experience and understanding of EBIT.
- Strong knowledge of store processes and systems (SAP and design systems a plus).
- Leadership skills with the ability to coach, influence, and inspire others.
- A collaborative, team-player mindset with excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel (including some overnight stays) and a full UK driving licence.
You’ll be successful in this role by living and breathing our core values — Care, Deliver, Inspire.
Caring – Building strong relationships, fostering collaboration, and supporting the growth of others while continuously developing yourself.
Inspiring – Communicating with impact, leading with purpose, and helping to bring our strategy to life by engaging and enabling those around you.
Delivering – Making sound decisions, using data and insight to drive action, and staying focused on results with a mindset of continuous improvement.
