As a Solution Architect at Nobia Park in Jönköping, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the IT architecture of Europe's most automated and sustainable kitchen factory. In close collaboration with production management, suppliers, and IT teams, you will design integration solutions, secure information flows, and drive projects forward with your technical vision. Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Solution Architect with deep expertise in Supply chain management of SAP and knowledge in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to design, align, and optimize end-to-end digital solutions across manufacturing and enterprise landscapes. This role will be pivotal in bridging business needs with technical execution, ensuring that solutions are scalable, integrated, and aligned with the organization's digital strategy.
The Solution Architect will collaborate closely with end users, change requesters, solution engineers, fellow solution architects, Business Process Owners (BPOs), and TED (Technology, Engineering & Digital) Product Owners to drive high-quality solution delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Architecture
- Design robust, scalable, and secure solutions integrating MES and SAP systems.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and digital strategy.
- Translate business and process requirements into system architecture and high-level designs.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Engage with end users and change requesters to gather and refine business needs.
- Collaborate with solution engineers for detailed technical implementation.
- Work with Business Process Owners to understand and align with process goals and KPIs.
- Coordinate with other solution architects to ensure cross-domain alignment and system interoperability.
- Partner with TED Product Owners to shape roadmaps and product vision.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory, security, and compliance standards.
- Contribute to change advisory boards and architectural review sessions.
- Maintain documentation and traceability from requirements through implementation.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in MES and SAP ecosystems.
- Provide strategic input into modernization, automation, and system integration initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance user experience.
- Identify and remove bottlenecks that increases the order fulfilment
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, with a strong focus on SAP Supply chain management and MES integration.
- Proven experience in designing and deploying solutions in manufacturing environments.
- Solid understanding of SAP modules (e.g., PP, MM, QM) and interfaces to MES platforms.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to balance technical depth with business context in discussions.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with common MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, AVEVA/Wonderware, etc.).
- Deep technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA working with configured products in highly automated MTO flows.
- Experience with industrial IoT, edge computing, or data lakes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and product-centric delivery models.
- Certifications such as TOGAF, SAP Certified Technology Associate, or similar are a plus.
