What you’ll be doing:
The Database Administrator is responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's database infrastructure. This includes monitoring database performance, ensuring data integrity, implementing security measures, and supporting both Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases. The role also involves overseeing backup and disaster recovery solutions while ensuring database stability for critical business applications. Additionally, the administrator will be the primary support for the MES technical platform based on 2020 Insights and 2020 Construct, learn and support SAP configuration, Test data management, Library, and testing support. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the organization's database infrastructure. - Optimize SQL Server & Oracle databases, ensuring stability and reliability.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and upgrade strategies.
- Maintain database architecture, modernization, and system improvements.
- Ensure security, access control, encryption, and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT for integrations and compatibility.
- Conduct security assessments and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Automate backup, restore procedures, and disaster recovery.
- Support MES platforms, including patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Occasional on-call availability for critical database issues.
Your skillset for performance:
- Proven experience in database administration, specifically in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
- Strong expertise in database performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience in backup strategies, disaster recovery, and database security.
- Knowledge of legacy system management and database modernization strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid residence permits in Lithuania.
Nice to have:
- Certification in SQL Server, Oracle, or database management.
- Experience with ITIL processes and best practices.

The salary range is 3200 – 3500 € gross, depending on your experience and qualifications.
