At Magnet, we’re on the lookout for a Project Design Manager to join our talented team in West Yorkshire.
Salary – £25,494.48 - £32,500 per year, depending on experience. With bonus this could rise to £33,000 – £42,500 per year. Plus, a company car or car allowance of £5,600.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be at the heart of our B2B customer relations, managing and delivering projects within housing association and private developer sectors. Reporting to the Regional Service Manager, your day-to-day will include:
- Delivering given projects on time in full and within budget.
- Providing regular lead information on potential new sites/clients.
- Designing and surveying kitchen through our CAD system 20/20 to agreed specifications along with organising and liaising with our clients.
- Agreeing and negotiating lead times and budgets with our clients.
- Managing external architects, contractors and private developers and local authorities alike.
- Managing the installation requirements depending on our clients’ needs/requests.
- Managing logistics and product availability through our Hub distribution network.
- Providing solutions for day-to-day issues internally and externally.
- Supporting the installation requirements depending on our clients’ needs/requests.
- Managing credit facility & invoice queries to support the business.
- Conduct regular progress meetings with our clients.
- Managing cost of failure.
- Ensuring that our service proposal is met through our “right first time” checks.
- Managing customers quotations through our CRM system – SAP.
- Communicating with customers to ensure the brief is achieved with minimum amendments.
- Delivering best in class service to encourage repeat business.
What you’ll bring to the team
We’re looking for an organised and proactive team member, with a passion for delivering first class service. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A full UK driving licence.
- Experience within the kitchen industry and have a basis knowledge of kitchen products.
- Experience of Designing/Planning Kitchens.
- Being able to use Microsoft packages including Excel at an intermediate level.
- Good relationship building skills at all levels, internally and externally.
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
- Proactiveness to work on your own initiative and within a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise own workload.
- Maintain deadlines while working under pressure.
- Ability to approach problems with a positive attitude.
