What you’ll be doing:
We’re hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join our MDM Solutions team, seeking talent passionate about building structured, high-quality data solutions. In this role, you’ll focus on Data Foundation and play a key role in developing our long-term Center of Excellence initiative. You’ll join Nobia’s Data Team, a collaborative group of talented designers, efficient developers, and product owners - driving impact in one of the fastest-growing areas of our company. Here, your intelligent and insightful data solutions will help us continuously improve our products and services.
- Establishing data definitions and data ownership.
- Implementing data quality monitoring and data governance.
- Building a comprehensive data catalogue.
- Enhancing data analytics capabilities.
- Ensure a clear understanding of data flows from source to reporting, including ETL processes and data architecture.
- Oversee data cleaning and validation processes to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
- Populate and maintain the data catalogue to create a searchable inventory of data assets.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to understand data needs and priorities.
- Build team expertise and advocate for strong data foundation practices.
Your skillset for performance:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven, analytical mindset and curiosity for exploring data.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools, data analysis, data science, and data pipelines.
- Skilled at bridging business and IT to create impactful solutions.
- Interest in optimizing workflows and actively participating in continuous improvement efforts.
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Background in project management.
- 1–2 years of experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge in IT development, including programming (.NET, Java, JavaScript) or SAP configuration.
- Understanding of system integration through REST APIs, ODBC, and ETL tools.
- Fluent English skills.
- Residence permit in Lithuania.
Nice to have:
- 1–2 years of experience with SAP S4Hana and SQL.

The salary range is from 4800 € gross, depending on your experience and qualifications.
