Join us at Nobia as Lead Buyer for Direct Materials. You will be a part of the Sourcing Team responsible for the supplier selection process and to manage, develop and optimize the QDCP-values (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Product Development) for all suppliers delivering to Nobia production plants.

As Lead Buyer you will join our category managed Sourcing Team, responsible for the supplier selection process and optimization of values for the assigned Direct Material suppliers. In cooperation with the Sourcing Director and other Lead Buyers you will be responsible for the development and execution of aligned Group Sourcing strategies within the assigned product categories.
As overall responsible for the Supplier relationship, you will be commercially responsible for managing contracts and Supplier Agreements. To achieve the optimal Total Cost of Ownership within your assigned categories, you will manage the supplier selection process, negotiation and agreements with a cross functional mindset and you will own the Supplier Relationship with a single point of contact for all contractual and commercial aspects.
You will be responsible for defining and driving TCO activities to achieve cost savings according to the agreed Sourcing plan and spend under management by monitoring, developing and securing continuous improvement of the supplier performance.
You will be responsible for driving cost cut activities in cooperation with the Product development department to optimize product life cycle cost and safeguard identified value engineering activities..
As an ideal candidate you have at least 5 years’ experience as a Strategic buyer.
From your professional experience, you have a background in running supplier selection processes (RFI, RFQ), and a proven track record of delivering value to your company.
You have experience with the Category management concept and preferably a background with running and also leading Value engineering projects in cross functional teams.
Your university for college degree is from a technical field or you have gained relevant and recent professional qualifications instead.
As you will be in close dialogue with stakeholders in all our Nordic production plants, & Commercial organisation, it is a must that you are fluent in English, (both written and spoken), and it is an advantage that you are fluent in one or more Scandinavian languages.
