Join us at Nobia as a Lead Buyer. You will be a part of the Sourcing Team responsible for the supplier selection process, to manage, develop and optimize the QDCP-values (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Product Development) for suppliers delivering to the Nobia Group.

As Lead Buyer you will join our category managed Sourcing Team, responsible for the supplier selection process and optimization of values for the assigned Direct Material suppliers. In cooperation with the Sourcing Director and other Lead Buyers you will be responsible for the development and execution of aligned Group Sourcing strategies within the assigned product categories.
As overall responsible for the Supplier relationship, you will be commercially responsible for negotiating & managing contracts, supplier agreements & performance, in a cross functional mindset to achieve the optimal Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) within your assigned categories.
You will be responsible for defining and driving TCO activities to achieve cost savings, margin improvement according to the agreed Sourcing, spend & business plan, monitoring, developing and securing continuous improvement of the supplier end to end performance.
You will be responsible for driving cost cut activities in cooperation with the Product development department to optimize product life cycle cost and safeguard identified value engineering, & value creation activities.
As an ideal candidate you have at least 5 years’ experience as a Strategic buyer, preferably with international sourcing experience. You have experience in running supplier selection processes (RFI, RFQ), and a proven track record of delivering value to your company. You have strong communication & negotiation, stakeholder & project management skills.
You have experience with the Category management concept and preferably a background with running and also leading Value engineering projects in cross functional teams. If you have experience within Appliances / White Goods category it is an advantage.
Your university or college degree is from a technical field or you have gained relevant and recent professional qualifications instead.
As you will be in close dialogue with stakeholders in all our Nordic production plants, & Commercial organisation, it is a must that you are fluent in English, (both written and spoken), and it is an advantage that you are fluent in one or more Scandinavian languages.
