Nobia has recently conducted a Group strategy review for the next few years based on high growth opportunities requiring increased production capacity and improved flexibility to drive profitable growth and further strengthen the Group's competitive power. The Nobia Board of Directors has made a directional decision to build a new highly automated production facility in Sweden. This will be Nobia's biggest investment to date and one of the most modern factories in Europe. The total investment in new production equipment is estimated at approximately 2 billion SEK during 2020 – 2023. The factory is expected to be in full operation by 2024.

What you will be doing

As our IT Project Manager you will be instrumental in leading, planning, implementing and deliver the required systems and applications for a new factory.

Your overall tasks during the construction program will be to:

  • Own the manufacturing IT project for the new factory from Nobia IT side. 
  • Lead, monitor and report the project plan, budget, scope and project status.
  • Highlight project level Risk Identification and Mitigation Plan
  • Manage the stakeholders and ensure timely availability and decisions to meet the program/project schedule
  • Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders across the board, including suppliers, business managers, solution architects, developers etc

You will be part of the IT Region North department and have a central role in the construction program of the new factory. You will be reporting to the Director IT Region North and to the construction program. Location: Jönköping.

We are looking for an IT Project Manager with;

  • More than 5 years’ senior experience as an IT project manager leading complex projects with several dependencies and stakeholders. 
  • Your educational background includes a bachelor’s degree or post-secondary college studies in industrial mgmt. engineering and/or technology/computer science. 
  • You have experience in project methodology including risk and stakeholder management
  • You have general experience and knowledge of manufacturing applications and technology, for example manufacturing, execution and control systems, and ERP systems, just to mention a few. 
  • To be successful in your role, you have the ability to prioritize and deliver against deadlines and you are a team player working well with different type of stakeholders across the business.
